8STA & 8TA circular connectors are derived from international military specifications MIL-DTL-38999 & JN1003, and are designed to withstand high levels of shock & vibration in harsh environments. One of the primary objectives with this product family, is to push the boundaries in terms of miniaturization and weight reduction, as demonstrated by the introduction of the worlds smallest, & now most popular connector of this type: 8STA size 02.
